Adoptable Dog
Find a spot in your heart for this sun-loving Lab mix at Houston SPCA
Does your weekend itinerary this time of year include laying out in the sun with a good book and a cold beverage? If so, think how much better that would be with a very good boy by your side.
We're talking about Spot, a one-year-old Labrador retriever mix who's currently waiting for his new home at the Houston SPCA.
Spot's previous owner loved him very much, but unfortunately became too ill to care for him. Now Spot's ready for a second chance and new adventures.
The bonus for you is that Spot is already house-trained and knows how to settle into a routine, so fitting into your family would be no problem for him.
Speaking of family, this 49-pound bundle of love can play a little rough, so older kids or a home with adults would be the best fit.
Spot's adoption fee is only $55 and that includes a microchip, neuter surgery, up-to-date vaccinations, a free sample bag of Hill’s Pet Nutrition, and a free post-exam from any VCA Animal Hospital.
Stop by the Houston SPCA, which is open every day from 11 am-6 pm, to spend some time in the play yards with Spot and many other adoptable pets.
