On December 16, those who attended the Shop Local Market at Karbach Brewing Co. received a little extra Christmas cheer thanks to the generosity of Frost Bank and CultureMap.
From 12-5 pm, reps stationed among the 50 or so artists and vendors handed out gift cards to Alamo Drafthouse, Frost Bank koozies, and Frost cash cards.
The Frost cash cards were distributed with the intent to #frostitforward and do a nice deed for someone else. Shoppers were given plenty of opportunity to do so while browsing the market and sipping on limited-release Karbach brews.
Santa Claus even paid a visit to the market from 3-5 pm before the cinematic classic A Christmas Story was screened at 6 pm.
This festive visit was the latest in a series of pop-ups that are helping Houstonians show generosity and spread optimism.
