- Rawfully Organic is catching on, adding a third pickup location and day.
- The co-op fights the high cost of organic produce with bulk purchasing power.
Rawfully Organic, the Houston co-op that fights the high cost of organic produce by buying in bulk direct from farmers and distributing weekly shares, has added a third day and location for pick-up at the Arboretum.
Already serving a steady community of raw foodies (as well as those who just appreciate good, low-cost produce), the co-op already offered pick-up from 6 to 9 p.m. every Thursday at Nottingham Forest Club and from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. every Saturday at 3400 Bissonett.
Now, on the third anniversary of the co-op, creator Kristina Carrillo-Bucaram has added a 4 to 7 p.m. pick-up at the Houston Arboretum in Memorial Park, beginning Oct. 5. Shares ($47 for a half and $87 for full) can be ordered online starting next week.
