Sure, he's cute, but...
Will the Texans or the papparazzi benefit more from Matt Leinart's move toHouston?
He won the Heisman (in 2004, from now-disgraced USC), he's hot (at least Paris Hilton thought so) and he's heading to the Texans. But will Matt Leinart be more than a pretty face and a big name?
Leinart was released by the Arizona Cardinals Saturday after four seasons with the team, who drafted him 10th overall back in 2006. ESPN reports he'll take a physical and sign his one-year Texans contract today to become the third-string quarterback.
His four post-graduate seasons with the Cardinals were unimpressive, and just after the loss of our last original Texan, Kris Brown, it's hard to get excited over this new addition. Leinart is a party boy who doesn't do the get-an-ex-pregnant thing with quite the same class as Tom Brady, and he doesn't throw the ball as well, either.
Am I alone in my apathy? How do you feel about Leinart joining the Texans?
