It should be packed at Saint Arnold tonight.
OK, now this is getting ridiculous.
On the heels of the free Whataburger and the free Taco Cabana tonight, Saint Arnold brewery is offering free beer. Also tonight (Tuesday).
If you're simpatico with Homer Simpson, you're probably dead right now — struck down by even the mention of the news. But it's true. From 6 to 8 p.m. at the Saint Arnold Brewing Company, a free happy hour of beer and lite bites will take place.
Sorry, Whataburger and Taco Cabana, you couldn't be more blown away right now if you were Sam Houston State playing the University of Texas in college football. If you think about it, were either of those offers that good (let alone great) to begin with? Wear orange to get a regular small burger or print out a coupon for a chicken fajita taco (the worst fajita taco offered)?
Free beer on the other hand ... well, that speaks for itself.
Saint Arnold and co-sponsor Rice Epicurean Market are holding the gratias happy hour (open to everyone) to bring attention to the Katy Prairie Conservatory Covey (a new young professionals group) — or at least that's what they say. Really, everyone knows they're doing it to one-up Whataburger and Taco Cabana.
Because they can. They have beer.
