Pet of the week - Domino Dalmatian
This gifted athlete is great with kids and families and ready to jet home with you.  Photo courtesy of Citizens for Animal Protection

Name: Domino, as in Fats Domino, the children's game played by grownups in the park, great song by Van Morrison, home delivery pizza, and X-Men comic book hero (real name Neena Thurman). Hey, you're lucky my name isn't Spot.

Birthdate: May 19, 2018 — I'm still a puppy, so you're getting in on the ground floor. You can mold me into the obedient, loving, well mannered creature you want me to be. (And I can do the same with you.)

Ethnicity: I'm a Dalmatian, which is easy to see if you just connect the dots. Look, I'm going to be straight with you. I'm a regale find here at the shelter. I won't last long, so get yourself down here and let's get this show on the road. You ask, what's a handsome fella like me doing here?

My previous owner, a real Snidely Whiplash kind of guy, couldn't give me the proper care and time a dog needs. So he gave me up, which I guess is the right thing to do. I'm a 5-star gifted athlete who likes a lot of activity. I'm good with other animals and children. If you're an active person, and enjoy faithful companionship, I'm your boy. How's your eyesight — just look at me!

Come and get me: I'm available for adoption at 11 am Friday, February 22 at Citizens for Animal Protection (17555 Katy Freeway; 281-497-0591). Tell them, "Ken sent me."
