A $300,000 truck
George W. Bush's old Crawford ranch pickup truck sells for an insane amount — while doing good
An unidentified buyer is now the proud owner of George W. Bush's hand-me-down pickup, a 2009 Ford F-150 King Ranch 4X4 SuperCrew that sold for a jaw-dropping $300,000 on the auction block.
The Examiner notes that President Bush initially purchased the truck from Jim Click Ford in Tuscon shortly after his departure from the White House. He and former First Lady Laura Bush have "since used the truck to work around their [Prairie Chapel Ranch,] entertain friends, family, and dignitaries and to give tours of their Crawford property."

Barrett-Jackson Auction Company offered the truck, and proceeds from the sale will benefit the Fisher House Foundation, a charity that provides "comfort homes" for U.S. military veterans and their families during times of medical need.
