Denny's lassos up a Wild West feast with new stuffed omelette

This week, I reached out for a new Wild West Omelette, the latest offering in the Ooh La La line of breakfasts at "America's Diner," Denny's, with 1,600 locations across the U.S.
How a dish called "Wild West" fits into a cupboard labeled "Ooh La La" is a mystery to the entire naming rights industry. Denny's says it's a toast to the omelette's origin in France. Maybe Denny's should have waited for a new French Toast concoction. Patience, Denny's, patience.
Here's the Wild West Omelette breakdown: three eggs, diced ham, fire-roasted yellow peppers and onions, jalapeños, and American cheese. Served with hash browns and toast. If you're gluten-free, sub out the toast for a gluten-free English muffin.

The Wild West Omelette is big eatin' and not just for mornings. The cook folds this 3-egg omelette like a taco stuffed with all the goodies, plus some of this 'n' that on top. It's a pretty omelette, and hefty enough for everybody's favorite change of pace, breakfast for dinner.
Denny's hash browns are a tasty side, grilled on a flat top, not deep-fried like the drive-thrus. Denny's makes a meal easy, low prices for the family, kids are welcome, and if dad sucks in his stomach, five people can fit in a booth. And because Denny's is open 24/7, no place has better people-watching at 3 am.
Denny's has unveiled two other entries on its Ooh La La menu. The Greek Garden Omelette has mushrooms, baby spinach, mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, feta cheese, and a blend of cherry tomatoes, artichoke hearts and Kalamata olives marinated in oil, balsamic vinegar, garlic and oregano.
The Sunny Topped Omelette has sausage crumbles, bacon, American cheese, and a fresh-cracked egg cooked to order on top. That makes four eggs. Now, about that fourth egg: Denny's prepares over-easy, sunny-side up, poached, and soft-boiled eggs only by request.
