A fashion icon steps out in a stunning frock, showing a Passion for Fashion
Looking ever-so-chic in her strapless Zang Toi cocktail dress, Phoebe Tudor was every bit the fashion diva (and we mean that in the best way) as she received congratulations during the early-evening kick-off, at Saks Fifth Avenue, for the Passion for Fashion luncheon. The Best Dressed Hall of Famer will be honored at the March 12 fundraiser with the 2014 Houston Community College Design Society's Fashion Icon Award.
The Zang Toi was a special touch as Phoebe is a dedicated follower of the New York-based fashion phenom, who will be the featured designer at the luncheon. The event at River Oaks Country Club will spotlight Toi's creations, presented by Saks Fifth Avenue, and include a Q&A with CultureMap editor-in-chief Clifford Pugh.
Mary Ann McKeithan and Dr. Kelli Cohen-Fein are chairing the event that will raise funds for the Fashion and Interior Design programs at HCC. Leaders from HCC attending included acting chancellor Renee Byas, HCC Central president Bill Harmon, Fashion Program founder Kay King and Division chair Suzette Brimmer.
The stylish gathering included Saks GM and party host Bobby Dees, Bobby Tudor, Nancy and Hans Strohmer, Judith Oudt, Paula Fyhr, David McKeithan, Jerry Ann and Victor Costa, Mary Williams, Roz Pactor and Kathi Rovere.
