If you were wondering where all the hottest heels in Houston were on Wednesday, one needed to look no further than The Galleria, where a stylish crowd gathered for the Neiman Marcus Stiletto Strut and Luncheon benefiting the Lester and Sue Smith Breast Center at Baylor College of Medicine.
Guests were asked to step out to stomp out cancer and the crowd did just that in grand style, kicking off the festivities at Neiman Marcus with bubbles in the shoe salon before making their way to the Westin Galleria ballroom.
Neiman Marcus amped up the fashion quotient with the “Art of Fashion” runway show highlighting fall’s most-coveted trends.
Colorful blinking rings and pops of pink brightened the ballroom filled with 450 breast cancer-research supporters. In an especially poignant moment, breast cancer survivors were honored as they walked the runway. The luncheon honored director of the NCI-designated Dan L. Duncan Cancer at Baylor Dr. C. Kent Osborne, a tireless and innovative cancer researcher, who encouraged the crowd to work as a team to fight breast cancer.

Chair Tricia Georgiou, co-chairs Trish Hayes and Megan Hotze helmed the fourth annual event, raising more than $400,000 to benefit the life-saving patient care delivered at the Lester and Sue Smith Smith Breast Center. Jane and Ed Parker were honorary chairs of Stiletto Strut.
