Hot Fashion Served on Ice
New York Fashion Week takes temporary backseat to killer fashion party at the Galleria
All eyes were on Manhattan fashion maven and glam DJ Hannah Bronfmanas she choreographed the play list that set the musical beat for "Ice at the Galleria," the rocking invitation-only fashion fete that combined Vogue magazine's cachet with Cadillac's support and the Galleria's imprimatur.
The striking young woman was just one of a handful of New Yorkers, who skipped out on the launch of New York Fashion Week, for the Galleria bash. Vogue market stylist Cara Crowley, stylist and tastemaker to the stars Micaela Erlanger and Laure Hériard Dubreuil, CEO and founding partner of The Webster, were among those who had flown in just for the night.
Crowley welcomed the crowd of more than 550 (the downpour reducing the anticipated number of 800) and introduced the presentation of hip fall looks from Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, John Varvatos, CH Carolina Herrera, Salvatore Ferragamo and Ermenegildo Zegna.
Vogue, Cadillac and the Galleria pulled out the stops for this exclusive evening, tapping the celebrated A Fare Extraordinaire to provide hors d'ouvres and Grey Goose to pour a wealth of cocktails.
The chichi gathering included designer Hunter Bell and husband Paul Bell, Erin Breen, Chris Goins, Kate Stukenberg, Divya Brown, Diandra Breen, Katie McClure, Cain Linville, Joshua Powell, Kate McName, Lauren Fallout and Ethan Welch.
