Equestrian fervor, French champagne and gilded Russian vodka ignite Baccarat party crowd
Nothing is more chic than sipping Perrier-Jouet champagne from Baccarat crystal flutes or sampling the exclusive Russian White Gold Vodka from crystal tumblers of the same French origin. Just ask the jaunty crowd that turned out at Baccarat in the Galleria to celebrate the upcoming Haras Cup working equitation competition.
Haras Cup chairs Carmina Zamorano and hubby Rafael Chavez welcomed the well-heeled contingent to the evening of music, cocktails and party fare from Culinaire. Two student musicians from Virtuosi of Houston gave guests a sample of what a larger group of musicians will present during Haras Cup entertainment when they play for horses trained to dance to music.
Among those gearing up for the Haras Cup events October 23-25 were Dot Cunningham, Zarine and Meherwan Boyce, Lily Paxon Salinas and Enrique Salinas, Gayle and Robert Rosales, Tama Lundquist, Tena Lundquist Faust, Alex Martinez and Ana Sophie Martin. Hostess with the mostess was boutique manager Vicki Rusca.
