Hot young professionals strut their stuff on the runway at Tootsies: Houston's future never looked so good
As the city's population continues to swell so does H-Town's stable of good-looking, philanthropic young professionals. It's a fountain of youth that Houston magazine taps into each fall with its Fresh Faces of Fashion event held in tandem with Tootsies.
Wednesday night's runway presentation of 10 glamorous fashionistas, some familiar names, others newcomers to the boldface-type echelon, had the invitation-only crowd enthusiastically applauding. Also receiving her share of bravos was the evening's emcee, Houston magazine's national accounts manager Isabel David, dazzling in her own right.
Ursaline Hamilton produced the fashion parade that included not only the fresh faces in two costume changes but also a lineup of professional models in the latest styles. Tootsies Fady Armanious served as clever style meister for the lineup as each of the 10 was stunning in both ensembles.
Making their runway debut as the 2014 Fresh Faces of Fashion were Holly A.N. Smith, Lindley Arnoldy (expecting her first child), Stephanie Fleck, Ashley Fondren, Michelle Mendenhall, Elizabeth Bracken Allen, Carolyn W. Dorros, Diana Martinez Cumbow, Kathleen Jennings and Shannon Addison.
Tootsies impresario Mickey Rosmarin was all smiles over the energized event as were Houston magazine publisher Peter Remington and editor-in-chief Jeff Gremillion.
The store oozed with social swells including Rachel Reagan, Ceron, Kristy Bradshaw, Katy Mayell Ellis, Jana and Scotty Arnoldy, Danny David, Jason Arnoldy, Jacquie Bailey, Vicki Rizzo, Valerie and Tracy Dieterich, Susan Hansen, Brittany Sakowitz Kushner, Gregory Fourticq and Neal Hamil.
