OK, CultureMap readers and tweeters, you brought up the topic ... and we're loving it. Planking [https: /content.usatoday.com/communities/gameon/post/2011/06/gilbert-arenas-dwight-howard-planking/1], as Australians coined the now-popular term, is "the lying down game." Just put your body down head-first on the ground or on any surface or object (the more unusual, the better; the more public, the better), place your arms to your sides, ready with sans expression and stay still, rather rigid, for a photo. And concentrate (according to my niece). If the image is posted on the Internet, then you've just planked! Hard-working Twitter Man KyleJack shared with us a local planking, so we've traveled the world to bring you more photos of this spontaneous ... and contagious ..."sport." Are you a planker? If so, send us your pics. If not, well what's your planking problem? (For more planking photos, see Geek System [https://www.geekosystem.com/best-planking-pictures/], visit Wiki [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lying_down_game] or just browse the Internet.) Pyramid plank
