A luxury high-rise building in the Museum District was the site of a bizarre and grisly murder early Sunday morning when a woman stabbed her alleged boyfriend with a stiletto heel.
Police were directed to an 18th-floor apartment where a female guest at the building later identified as Ana Lilia Trujillo answered the door.
KHOU Ch. 11 reports that the woman led officers to the body of a 59-year-old man in a hallway near the kitchen. The victim suffered multiple stab wounds to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene. He's been identified as Alf Stefan Andersson, a research professor at the University of Houston’s Biology and Biochemistry Department.
As the only person alive in the apartment when police arrived, Trujillo was detained for questioning by homicide investigators and later charged with murder in a Harris County criminal court. The suspect is being held on a $100,000 bond.
According to court documents, Trujillo — aka. Ana Fox — has had several prior run-ins with the law, including a dismissed misdemeanor case from 2010 involving check fraud.
