Game of Cones: Dreamy artist-inspired bras stand out at sensational fundraiser
What: The 5th annual Brazarre Houston benefiting the American Cancer Society.
Where:G Gallery in the Heights.
The 411: Close to four dozen artists presented "Maidenforms" in dreamy reincarnations for the somewhat bizarre bazaar of the iconic undergarment. The bidding was hot and heavy as guests poured in between Saturday night's heavenly downpours.
Beyond the bra fun, guests were entertained by Grifters & Shills, nibbled on bits from the Union Kitchen and Paul's Kitchen and sipped on Karbach Brewing's "Brazarre Brew."
"We can’t thank those enough who did brave the weather," said Vicki Eaker, Brazarre Houston founder and chairwoman, "to join us in our celebration of beautiful art, and inspiring stories, all raising money for the fight against cancer and the celebration of life after cancer.”
