Stormy weather can't dampen party spirit as Katy Prairie Conservancy bash brings in $200,000

The 411: The party was supposed to have been on the grounds of Clayton and Shel Erikson's home but with the stormy weather, the event moved inside to their beautiful, art-filled abode.
Debbie and Chris Patton chaired the event that honored the Garden Club of Houston for its many conservation efforts. Guests viewed a video on the club's efforts, dined on a buffet from A Fare Extraordinaire and socialized as guitarist Wayne Holtz provided background music. The evening brought in $200,000 for Conservancy projects.
