Moving the Galleria's annual Primavera fashion extravaganza, presented by Cadillac, from the ice rink to the rooftop pool of the Westin Oaks proved a smashing idea for the spring frolic. With great weather, a hip turnout of 500 and fashions presented under the stars, it was, by all accounts, a spectacular evening.
The invitation-only soirée featured a runway presentation of the best of spring fashions from Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, CH Carolina Herrera, Ermenegildo Zegna, Fendi, Jimmy Choo, Max Mara and Salvatore Ferragamo. Rocking the runway were fit and fabulous models from Page Parkes.
The evening began with cocktails (Grey Goose-inspired concoctions) and sunset views of the Galleria-area skyline. As darkness fell, the fashion lights rose, washing the surroundings in wave of magenta, green and purple. Post-catwalk presentation, the party continued for a fashionable contingent at Gigi's Asian Bistro and Dumpling Bar.
Making their own spring fashion statement were guests including Caroline Kenney, Karina Barbieri, Roz and Alan Pactor, Todd Ramos, Gabriela and Daniel Dror, Gustavo Quaglia, Jared Lang, Ally Shell, Tabitha Garcia, Alexandra Chunn, Cerón, Trey Gillen and Phillip Broomhead, Mark Sullivan and Jason Reeves, Heather Wied and Shireen Hadi.
