What:Preservation Houston's "Cornerstone Dinner."

The scoop: Good Brick Awards were presented to those instrumental in local historic preservation efforts including architect and preservationist Barry Moore, who received the top honor — the President's Award. Chaired by Elizabeth and Richard Husseini, the event raised $205,000 for Preservation Houston projects.
Among those receiving awards were Mo and Ric Campo and Jim Reeder and Eric Nevil, both couples recognized for restoration of their landmark homes in River Oaks. Phoebe Tudor and Doreen Stoller accepted the Future Landmark Award for the McGovern Centennial Gardens & Cherie Flores Garden Pavilion. Also receiving awards were Martha and Steve Curry for restoration of their 1953 home in Ayrshire neighborhood near Allen Parkway and FW Heritage for restoration of two cottages in the First Ward.
The fundraiser was emceed by Deborah Duncan and interior designer Bill Stubbs with Preservation Houston president John Cryer presenting top awards.
