Star Power
Selena Gomez's North Texas home can be yours for a mere $2.9 million
Pop star Selena Gomez has put her Fort Worth home up for sale. Born in Grand Prairie, Gomez is no stranger to North Texas, and she bought the 10,016-square-foot estate in Montserrat in 2015 as a place to spend time with her family when not on the road.
Alas, with such a busy schedule, the 25-year-old just didn’t have time to make it back that often. Besides holidays, the house didn’t see much action. So now, for a mere $2.9 million, you too can live like a pop star (minus the packed touring schedule and adoring fans, that is).
Being marketed by Todd Terry and John Zimmerman of Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s, the home is located at 4649 Saint Laurent Ct. in the exclusive Montserrat neighborhood, which, according to Zimmerman “probably has the highest concentration of seven-figure sales in Fort Worth” and “some of the best views in North Texas.”
The home is situated on a sprawling (and private) acre and a half and includes a lagoon-style saltwater pool with water slide and spa, an outdoor family room with fireplace and attached cabana/guest quarters, a grilling area, a putting green, and a tennis/sport court. And that’s just what’s on the outside.
Inside you’ll find five bedrooms, six full bathrooms and one half-bath, a spectacular media and crafts room, an office, a game room complete with a pool table, a coffee bar in master suite No. 1 (there are two master suites, because that’s just what you have when you’re a pop star), and a gourmet kitchen and open floorplan ideal for entertaining.
Oh, and the garage holds six to eight cars. Again, because that’s just what you have when you’re a pop star.
