The New York Times reports that the five bedroom, five-and-a-half-bath residence covers a full floor of the TriBeCa building, One York Street, designed by Mexican architect Enrique Norten.

The East Coast pied-a-terre suits Fertitta's ever-expanding real estate interests that have grown to include the Golden Nugget casino/hotel in Atlantic City and Vic & Anthony's Steakhouse in New York. Let's not forget that Fertitta's restaurant/entertainment empire, Landry's Inc., includes a score of eateries in the NewYork/New Jersey area.
The Times says of Fertitta's 11th floor aerie, "Besides having two terraces, one of them 859 square feet and the other 644, with multidirectional vistas, the apartment has a main living/entertainment space with a 22-foot ceiling."
Fertitta should feel right at home in the building. The New York Observer notes that there is a Maserati dealership at street level. Fertitta owns a Bentley/Rolls Royce dealership back home in Houston.
Putting real estate prices in perspective: The most expensive home on the market in Houston today is the Bayou Breeze estate in River Oaks, a 16,000 square foot mansion, nestled on 3.7 acres, priced at $19.9 million.
This building is so swank and space in NYC so tight that the cars are parked via lift or auto-elevator, if you will.
