Zagats 2010 airline survey named Continental as the large domestic airline with the best first-class seating for the third consecutive year.
Flyers who averaged more than 17 flights per year were polled by the ratings giant, which included 16 domestic airlines and 30 domestic airports in the survey. (Continental's new flat-bed seats, included those in the much-hyped Dreamliner 787, are typically only available on international flights. Singapore Airlines won best first-class seating among international airlines.)
Dallas-based Southwest Airlines didn't go without recognition, winning best value, best luggage policy, best check-in policy, best consumer on-time estimates and most eco-friendly.
