Continental, Southwest airlines plan to suspend Houston service late afternoon

According to a weather advisory on the Continental website, the airline is planning to suspend service on most flights to and from Houston's Bush Intercontinental airport from 6 p.m. Thursday through noon Friday.
Other reports have service ending as early as 3 p.m.
Similarly, Southwest Airlines has canceled a majority of Thursday evening flights to and from Hobby Airport. Passengers with reserved flights to or from Austin; Dallas; Houston; Corpus Christi; Harlingen/Valley; San Antonio; Birmingham, Ala.; Jackson, Miss.; or New Orleans may reschedule their flights without additional charges.
Many flights have already been canceled, so check your flight status before heading to the airport if you're planning to travel.
