Hispanic powerhouses celebrate positions of influence at Mayor's annual Latino holiday bash

The 411: More than 350 Hispanic leaders and fans turned out for the annual bash hosted by Café Adobe's Bob Borochoff and advisory board chairman Roland Garcia. In her remarks to the heavy-hitter group, Mayor Annise Parker noted that her three major Hispanic appointments form the pillar of the city's transportation scene — Metro chairman Gilbert Garcia, Airport Director Mario Diaz and Port of Houston chair Janiece Longoria.
Key players in the gathering were advisory board co-chair Yolanda Black Navarro and event committee chairs Lauren Soliz and Lenora Sorola-Pohlman.
