It seems that everyone in the social realm is enjoying the holiday giving opportunities that abound this month. Close to 200 well-dressed denizens of good works rang the chimes at Paige and Tilman Fertitta's mansion Thursday night.
They came in support of the annual Santa's Elves Party benefiting M.D. Anderson Children's Cancer Hospital.
The house was decorated to the hilt in festive holiday froth. The Pure Sound Youth Choir of St. Luke's United Methodist Church caroled from the curving stairway. And the Landry's Signature restaurants did their best with yummy fare to tempt even the most disciplined dieter.
Santa's Elves founding chairs Patsy and Greg Fourticq, Gregory Fourticq, Courtney Hill Fertitta and Jason Fertitta welcomed the partying throng that warmed the cockles of the hearts of M.D. Anderson president Dr. John Mendelsohn and wife Anne. This year's party enjoyed a long list of chairs — Katie Earthman Cullen and Harry Cullen, Jill and Brad Deutser, Ashley and Lance Loeffler, Soraya and Scott McClelland, Kristen and Lee Nix, Kathryn Hall Wilson and Tom Wilson and Nancy and Don Woo.
