River Oaks billionaire's mansion becomes a magical setting for ultimate Christmas party — and kids benefit

The 411: Some 375 "Santa's Elves" turned out for the joyful evening that featured seasonal tunes performed by the Houston Children's Chorus, seven among the 50 young members have parents that work at M.D. Anderson. The party spread from the home, graced by 14 Christmas trees and beaucoup holidy cheer, to the terrace where a string quartet added special notes to the evening.
Honorary chairs for the event that raised more than $82,000 were Patsy and Greg Fourticq, Gregory Fourticq Jr., Diane and John B. Connally III and Courtney Hill Fertitta and Jason Fertitta. Joining the party were M.D. Anderson president Dr. Ron DePinho and his wife, Dr. Lynda Chin.
Who: More than 50 supporters of the Children's Cancer Hospital served as chairs of the evening. Among those attending were Lacey and Matt Goossen, Amy and Rob Pierce, Catherine and Reed Barrett, Kelli and Eddy Blanton, Nellie Connally, John B. Connally IV, Sarah and Bradley Bracewell and Ashley and Lance Loeffler.
