Urban Green, a group of young professionals dedicated to non-profit organization Hermann Park Conservancy’s mission to improve and maintain Hermann Park, hosted a roaring '20s party, Gatsby in the Gardens.
Event chairs Bryce Bash, Kenedy Hughes, Patrick Sheehy, and Emily and Conner Tamlyn welcomed nearly 350 guests to Hermann Park’s McGovern Centennial Gardens for mingling, light bites, and sips including drinks by Saint Arnold Brewing Company, TX Whiskey, and Deep Eddy Vodka.
Partygoers snapped pics in a photo booth from local company Ham & Cheese and danced the night away to the beats of DJ Mav.
Proceeds from the evening, including money raised at a silent auction with items from a private cooking class at Four Seasons Houston to a two night stay at a Caesars Entertainment property in Las Vegas, totaled $17,000.
