Some of the party animals were already stuffed, others filled up on Gigi'sdumplings
So generous was the giving at the 20th annual Joyful Toyful Fiesta at Gigi's Asian Bistro & Dumpling Bar that there were actually more toys, games and stuffed animals than people. And that was happy holiday news for party host Gigi Huang, Joyful Toyful honorary chair Andy Delery and president Fred Wahrlich.
The party tent was bulging with gifts guaranteed to put smiles on the faces of children at Boys & Girls Harbor, Casa de Esperanza de los Ninos, Our Lady of Guadalupe School, the Forge for Families and Volunteer Houston. The successful evening served as a loving tribute to Joyful Toyful founders, Delery and the late Carmen and David Bridges.
Marshall Maxwell, dressed as a colorful Christmas tree, tickled the ivories while guests sipped on holiday libations and supped on Asian-inspired hors d'oeuvres from Gigi's fab kitchen.
Among those joining in the festive scene were Janet Wahrlich, Pattie Dale and Jim Tye, Carol and Dr. Tom Sawyer, Kim Padgett and Marcus Mann, Holly Reichert, Sarah Godwin, Kate Loncarich, Ashley Estes, Leona Hammill and Caroline Matlock.
