Houston celebrity models support heart healthy lives for women at Circle of Red runway show
What: Fourth annual Circle of Red fashion show and cocktail party.
Where: Elizabeth Anthony.
The scoop: Members of Circle of Red, a group supporting the American Heart Association's campaign to improve the health, well-being, and awareness of heart disease in women in the Houston area, and their supporters filled the Uptown Park boutique to see the latest fashions from the luxe German design label Talbot Runhof in a runway show and cheer on eight celebrity guest models who have been supportive of the cause.
Myrtle Jones, Dr. Monica Patel, Roseann Rogers, Jane Wagner, Maica Walker, Sonni Estill, Regay Hildreth, and Nicki James Petrelli strolled the catwalk to huge applause. Afterwards, Petrelli, an attorney and mother of two, shared her remarkable story of overcoming a stroke from an undiagnosed congenital heart defect while in her late 20s.
A percentage of all sales from the store were donated to the Houston Go Red For Women Campaign, raising a total of $8,300.
