Harvard professor honored for pioneering work in chemistry at Welch award dinner

The scoop: Professor and researcher Stephen Harrison of the Harvard Medical School was presented the 2015 Welch Award in Chemistry for his pioneering work in creating molecular maps that facilitate the investigation of biological functions. Foundation chair Beth Robertson made the presentation before a gathering of 350.
Key guests attending the black-tie evening were Nobel Laureate and Welch Scientific Advisory Board member Joe Goldstein and American Chemical Society president-elect Donna Nelson.
