CultureMap's about to debut a new series that will bring young professionals to a hot spot on the food and drink circuit for a happy hour event that is both fun and purposeful. You'll mingle with friends, make new connections and learn about featured non-profit organizations making a difference in the Houston community.
The first-ever CultureMap Social is set for Tuesday, Oct. 22 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Saint Genevieve (2800 Kirby). The event, sponsored by Yellow Cab, kicks off the fall fashion season in the spirit of giving back. CultureMap editor-in-chief and resident fashion expertClifford Pugh and local lifestyle and fashion blogger Julie Bortnick of from prosecco to plaid will host the city’s top fashion bloggers and boutiques. The experts will share their tips on style, beauty and hair trends for fall.
The first 150 guests will take home CultureMap "Must Have Swag" bags presented by BeautyNow.
Guests will also learn about YTAC (Young Texans Against Cancer) and Houston Ballet's Ballet Barre Young Professional Programs.
