Young Friends of Ronald McDonald House brave stormy weather for Kendra Gives Back Party
While the weekend's torrential rains might have discouraged some supporters of Ronald McDonald House, the stalwarts made a successful night of it when Kendra Scott in CityCentre opened its doors with the "Kendra Gives Back Party."
Joining RMH volunteers and board members was a contingent of Young Friends of Ronald McDonald House, the target audience of the Austin-based jewelry designer who is enjoying major success with her hand-cut gemstones. The gathering of gals and a few guys sipped wine, nibbled on appetizers and shopped for the benefit of the non-profit as a percentage of sales was earmarked for RHM.
Among those awed by the Kendra Scott bling and supporting the Medical Center home-away-from-home for families with seriously ill children were RMH executive director Leslie Bourne, Katie Krynak, Arthur Bryan II and Netosha Kennerson, Kelley Kolb, Kelsey Faubion, Ashleigh Kraatz, Cassie Dalton, Kaitlyn Woods, Bobbie Durham, Ellen Cairns and Lauren Masset.
