The 411: Tempting guests with the promise of a soiree sparkling with exotic moods, Spotlight Asia: Cocktails and Cultural Fusions party chairs Janae and Kenneth Tsai summoned an assemblage of 700 to be charmed by a lantern-themed ambiance. With New York-based turntablist DJ Kalkutta and Vietnamese-American Houston-based Baohaus supplying the music, the fundraiser presented by American First National Bank was spiced with Asian-inspired thumb thumping grooves.
Thanks to Glen Gondo and Sushic, Boheme Cafe & Wine Bar, Monica Pope's Sparrow Bar + Cookshop, Little Soya and Uchi, guests were well fed and lubricated.
