$500,000 raised for grief support: This gala touches hearts and honors a community leader

The 411: Giggy and Matt Thanheiser and Paula and Rusty Walter chaired the luncheon that raised $550,000 for the non-profit that provides free grief support for children, families and individuals living in the greater Houston area. Highly-respected community leader Flo McGee was honored with the Robin Bush Award, presented for her long-time dedication to serving the interests of children.
Joining these leaders in the spotlight was honorary chair Lindy Neuhaus. She and husband Larry Neuhaus, lost their 12-year-old son to liver cancer in 1985 and soon began supporting the Grief Center which later became Bo's Place.
