Montrose gets pulled into the Black Hole: A new café bar from Antidote's owners
Nov 19, 2010 | 10:40 am
The owners of Heights coffee shop Antidote (which just celebrated its third anniversary on Nov. 13) and Montrose bar Poison Girl are opening Black Hole Café on the corner of Graustark Street and Castle Court in Montrose.
The new place will be more café than bar, serving coffee, tea, beer and wine along with pastries, sandwiches and salads from its own kitchen.
Owner Chris Martin tells CultureMap "It's going to be a lot like Antidote, but a little bigger inside," and notes that he hopes to start providing Antidote with baked goods from the Black Hole kitchen.
Martin's got his fingers crossed for a December opening, but says he's braced for delays. Stay tuned for the offical open date.
