For Café Moustache, it looks like the second time is not the charm.
Less than 18 months after Café Moustache was re-born in the So Vino wine bar space on lower Westheimer, b4-u-eat reports that the restaurant has closed its doors.
Owner Manfred Jachmich, who also ran the original Café Moustache in the Highland Village area in the 1970s, told CultureMap previously that there was a change of ownership at the restaurant and that the menu would be changing, but b4-u-eat reports that Jachmich is planning a new, unnamed concept in the space that will open by the end of November and serve "American" fare.
