Tiff's Treats expands in Houston, offers boxes of cookies for $3 at second storeopening
It's time to heal this divided nation. Let's all put down our Team Cake and Team Pie signs, stop arguing over cookies versus cupcakes and reluctantly accept that blondies are a real thing that people enjoy.
(Seriously, what's that about? Who ever thought that brownies were a great idea except for all the delicious chocolate?)
Dessert is meant to bring joy, not discord, and luckily 100 percent of the people polled in my imagination agreed that warm, fresh-baked cookies are a sign that God loves us.
Dessert is meant to bring joy, not discord, and luckily 100 percent of the people polled in my imagination agreed that warm, fresh-baked cookies are a sign that God loves us and wants us to be happy. That's why the opening of the second Houston location of Tiff's Treats, a cookie bakery and delivery service, offers not only great deals but a chance to help those in need.
On Saturday, Tiff's Treats' grand opening at 1333 Old Spanish Trail will feature boxes of one-dozen cookies in chocolate chip, snickerdoodle or oatmeal raisin available for $3 per box, cash only, with a limit of six boxes per person.
The proceeds from the sale up to $5,000 will go towards buying laptops for the Child Life department at the Cystic Fibrosis Clinic at Texas Children's Hospital, helping kids struggling with the genetic disorder and their families stay connected and reach out to others.
If that wasn't enough of a reason to brave the cookie lines, the first 10 customers at 9 a.m. will receive a $100 gift card to Tiff's Treats, the second 10 will get $20 cards and the third 10 will receive gift cards for $10, plus everyone who buys a box will be entered to win free cookies for a year.
