Kemah shakeup: Bailey's American Grill closes to move & turn into a bed andbreakfast
For those in the Seabrook area, Bailey's American Grill stood out for the past three years with outstanding comfort food, lively jazz brunches and neighborhood service.
Bailey's owner Brad Bailey revealed Wednesday that the restaurant will be shuttering, but the news comes with a sizeable silver lining.
Bailey is in the process of opening a new concept called Bailey's on the Bay. Located blocks from the Kemah boardwalk, the new Bailey's will be a five-story bed and breakfast on the waterfront debuting this fall.
The venue will contain a bistro, bar, banquet facility, five guest rooms and a full-floor suite, all surrounded by pristine grounds and topped by a fifth-floor glassed-in observation deck that will be the highest point in Kemah. (Houston brides, are you listening?)
With a full service schedule including brunch planned, we hope nothing about this place changes except for the location.
