Food Network star Cat Cora flying into Houston to open a new restaurant
Iron ChefCat Cora is opening up a new restaurant at George Bush Intercontinental Airport, and we're almost as excited as when we learned of Cora and her partner's unconventional egg-swap pregnancies.
For this project, the Food Nework star teams up with Hojeij Branded Foods, an Atlanta company that focuses on airport fare.
According to Hojeij's website, "The Cat Cora concept features mouthwatering tapas and cocktails all sourced from local farms using seasonal, locally produced vegetables, herbs, cheeses and meats. Cat Cora features inventive cocktails and tapas that contain unexpected combinations and exotic ingredients all concocted in an open-air lounge, breezy yet sophisticated."
Travelers who fly through San Francisco International already have Cat Cora's Kitchen as a pre-flight option, and both the menu and the reviews look promising.
Let's see what the chef whips up in Houston; look for Cat Cora's Kitchen in IAH's Terminal E around Thanksgiving.
