Houston fajita to-go restaurant rolls into Memorial Park neighborhood
Choosing Tex-Mex for dinner just got a little easier for residents of Rice Military and its surrounding neighborhoods. Fajita Pete's, the Houston-based Tex-Mex restaurant, just opened its 14th location at 5710 Memorial Dr.
Not only does the restaurant serve fajitas — choices include Angus beef, chicken, veggies, and shrimp — with all the trimmings, such as grilled onions, jalapeños, shredded cheese, pico de gallo, and guacamole, but the restaurant focuses primarily on delivery and to-go. That makes it a convenient option for people who want to satisfy their craving for grilled meat wrapped in fluffy flour tortillas without the hassle of taking the whole family to a restaurant.
“It’s always exciting for us to open a new Fajita Pete’s,” said Pedro Mora, founder and CEO, in a statement. “Because we are originally from Houston, we have a special connection with the area and its community members. We can’t wait to see how guests respond to our newest location.”
Delivery is available within a two-mile radius of the restaurant. Dine-in and catering options are also available.
To celebrate the opening, the restaurant will feature a 12-ounce margarita for just 99 cents every Sunday in August. They're also available to-go by the half-gallon ($9.99) or gallon ($19.99). Beer and wine are also available for dine-in guests.
