Much Yum
Houston's cajun eatery spices up the weekend with bold new brunch
Have you heard of "togatherness?" They're practicing it at BB's Tex-Orleans, the Cajun eatery with nine Houston-area locations that serves up traditional Southern Louisiana-style cooking with a Texas twist.
It means not just getting together, but gathering to celebrate and enjoy what's good in life — and right now, what's especially good at BB's Tex-Orleans are the new daily boils and weekend brunch.
Here's what you need to know about both options (your stomach will thank you):
Chow down and cheer up
Each Saturday and Sunday from 11 am-3 pm, stop by for a brand-new brunch menu. You can have your pick of new Benedicts (the Boudreaux is particularly zesty) and breakfast sammies (those boudin biscuits are calling your name), or go sweet with Bananas Foster French toast or chicken, waffles, and spicy grilled watermelon. Channel New Orleans with the cold boiled platter, comprised of chilled Dungeness and snow crab legs, cold boiled shrimp, and jumbo lump crab salad.
Good tunes and better attitude
Wishing you had some accompaniment while you chomp? You're in luck, with live music every Saturday and Sunday from noon-3 pm. Depending on your location, you could be listening to everything from Pearl Jam and Willie Nelson covers to the Boomtown Brass Band. Check the latest schedule for your favorite location here.
Build your boil
Can't make it for brunch? Not to worry, as the crab, shrimp, and crawfish (seasonal) are getting boiled all day, every day at BB's Tex-Orleans. Build your tray just how you like it, whether that means the Tex-Orleans or Louisiana way, and throw in your choice of button mushrooms, corn, red potatoes, and three kinds of sausage (including spicy alligator andouille).
Follow BB's Tex-Orleans on Instagram and Facebook to stay on top of all the yummy news, and get ready to gather.
