First up: Eleven XI
Dine Around Houston: RAM and CultureMap partner on the foodie event of the summer
Just as Houston has been earning culinary kudos from outlets and organizations as illustrious as Bon Appetit and the James Beard Foundation, RAM has recently been decorated as the 2013 North American Truck of the Year and the Truck of Texas 2013.
And with its best best-in-class fuel economy and an unsurpassed style, it's no surprise that the RAM Laramie Longhorn has become the favored ride on dad duties and dinner dates alike.
What a better way to impress this summer than Dine Around Houston, a moveable foodie event from RAM and CultureMap with stops in some of the city's hottest spots.
First up? A tasting event at Eleven XI Restaurant & Bar from 6 to 8 p.m. on July 15, benefiting PULSE, St. Luke's Hospital's young professional group.
Chef Kevin Bryant has handcrafted a menu that includes a Kobe (Blue Corn Grits) Corn Dog and an Eleven XI Burger, with Kobe and certified Angus beef with heirloom tomato jam and caramelized onions on a slow dough pretzel bun — both served with a side of shoestring fries, craft beer pairings and a light dessert for just $12.
Although advanced reservations are sold out, there's still a chance to win a pair of tickets to the July 15 event by tagging @culturemap in Instagram snaps of your favorite Houston dishes using the hashtag #dinearoundhouston.
