UPDATE: The opening date has been moved to Saturday, June 29.

Houston's fourth full service outpost of Shake Shack, the New York-based global burger juggernaut will arrive at 702 Main St. on Tuesday, June 25, the restaurant announced.
Like its siblings in the Galleria, Rice Village, and Montrose, the new location also features the Texas-exclusive Lockhart Link burger, made with jalapeño-cheese sausage sourced from legendary Texas barbecue joint Kreuz Market and desserts that feature ingredients sourced from Fluff Bake Bar, including the Mix-In Control made with vanilla custard, marshmallow sauce, Fluff Bake Bar milk chocolate oatmeal cookie, and malt powder.
Started as a hamburger stand in New York City's Madison Square Park, Shake Shack has grown into a certified global phenomenon. The company's iconic ShackBurger starts with premium beef from celebrated butcher Pat LaFrieda that's "smashed" on a griddle, topped with mayonnaise-based ShackSauce, and served on a potato bun. Hand-spun shakes and signature frozen custards round out the experience.
In addition to shakes, sodas, lemonade, and tea, patrons may pair their burgers with locally sourced craft beers from Karbach, Saint Arnold, Back Pew, Eureka Heights, 8th Wonder, and 11 Below.
Does the company already have plans for a fifth Houston-area location? One blogger is predicting The Woodlands could be next, but a Shake Shack representative tells CultureMap the restaurant doesn't "have any news to share at this time" about the rumors.
