A Happy Ending?
A new pizza restaurant chain roars into Houston — and it's big on seafood (seriously)
Happy's Pizza — a Michigan-based pizza chain with franchises in nine states — has been aggressively expanding and it's now hit Houston .
The first Texas Happy's Pizza opened this week in north Houston at 103 E. Crosstimbers and a second Happy's is already slated for southwest Houston at 7903 Beechnut. The Beachnut Happy's is expected to open within the next two months.
"We are very excited to open our first Texas store in Houston," Jason Curis, co-CEO for Happy's Pizza, said in the statement. "This is a completely new location for us and we couldn't be happier to be in this area."
Happy's Pizza hopes to expand even more by the end of 2013. Curis said the company is looking to open two more, yet undisclosed Texas locations over the next few months.
As for the food, Happy's Pizza hardly sticks to that just pizza thing. It also serves ribs, wings, fried chicken and seafood. Yes, seafood dishes at your pizza place.
This should be interesting.
