Houston "shuts down" Drinking Made Easy hosts — awesome bar scene overwhelms TVpros
Zane Lamprey, from left, Lennie Ambrose and Steve McKenna

After much thought, I have decided that Steve McKenna and Zane Lamprey have the best jobs ever.
As hosts of HDNet show Drinking Made Easy, McKenna and Lamprey hit Houston at the beginning of May and liked what they saw.
Over two days, Drinking Made Easy spent time shooting a Houston episode at Saint Arnold Brewing Company, Under The Volcano, Leon's Lounge and several other local bars. More than 300 fans showed up at Petrol Station to watch the guys film (one even caught them draining a cask of Saint Arnold's Elissa IPA). This being Houston, McKenna also couldn't resist donning an orange NASA flight suit for part of the day.
Lamprey also tweeted a rave review for Underbelly after trying "everything on the menu" and let it slip to followers that the crew was hanging out at Anvil, where they were drinking but not filming.
Did the Drinking Made Easy guys like Houston? We'll have to wait until the episode airs in the fall to get the full picture. But until then, this tweet kinda says it all:
"Houston, you did what 50 other cities could not do. You shut down @stevemckennad."
Dear Zane: Hell yeah we did.
