The food world's new rock stars: Revival Market butchers receive Bon Appetitlove
According to Bon Appetit, butchers are the food world's new rock stars. Well, they certainly have the tattoos for it, although this girl will take a tomahawk chop over a love song any day.
The magazine also declared Houston butcher/grocer/café Revival Market as one of the five best new artisanal butchers in the country.
Singled out alongside Publican Quality Meats in Chicago, Olivier's Butchery in San Francisco, LA's Lindy and Grundy and Nashville's Porter Road Butcher, Revival Market was singled out for its unique vertical integration, with co-owner Morgan Weber and his family owned Revival Farms, which sources pigs and chicken to the market.
But all of this begs the question — if co-owners Weber and Ryan Pera were rock stars, what rock stars would they be?
