That could be the name of a new TV show as the disgraced cyclist keeps buying and selling homes in the Austin area.
In his latest house flip, Armstrong purchased a stone mansion in the exclusive Rob Roy gated community for $4.44 million in April, but six weeks later sold it to race car driver Bret Curtis, according to the real estate website Zillow. The 12,553-square-foot home, which realtor.com described as a "modern castle" spread over four structures, has six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, pool, spa, cabana, rooftop deck, terraced gardens, indoor sport court, art studio and a 200-foot suspension bridge leading to a private boathouse on Lake Austin.
The sales price was not disclosed, reports the Daily Mail.
Armstrong then purchased a new home five days after the Lake Austin property sold. He downsized to a 7,646-square-foot, single-family home he bought from former Texas lieutenant governor and Texas Speaker of the House Ben Barnes. The property is described as a ‘1924 Mediterranean-style manse in the Old West neighborhood’ and sits on nearly half an acre, according to Zillow.
In April, Armstrong, who was stripped of his seven Tour de France titles after finally confessing to using banned performance enhancing drugs, sold his lavish mansion in central Austin to oil and gas businessman Al Koehler for a reported $3.1 million — much less than the $10 million it was listed for by real estate agents.
Armstrong had bought that home in 2004 and renovated it into a 7,850-square-foot mansion was featured in Architectural Digest four years later.
