New luxury mid-rise adds a splash of la bella vita to Upper Kirby
The heart of the Upper Kirby District will get some Italian flair, beginning in March.
A seven-story mid-rise condominium, billed as Giorgetti Houston, is planned for 2701 Steel St, in a bustling residential spot. Stolz Partners, a Georgia-based developer of condominiums, single family homes, mixed-use, and resort communities, has closed on the 39,453-square-foot plot of land. The hotly anticipated Giorgetti is already 50 percent sold.
The brainchild of real estate veterans Jacob Sudhoff and Jerry Hooker, Giorgetti Houston is the 120-year-old Italian furniture makers’ first totally luxury-branded real estate project. The boutique condominium will feature 32 flats, ranging in size from 2,700 square feet, to 6,800 square-feet for one of the four penthouses. Ceilings will range in height from 10 to 12 feet, with balconies from 500 to 2,000 square feet.
Giorgetti will create a complete residential environment from the kitchen and outdoor cabinetry to paneling, lighting, carpets, closets, woodwork, and furnishings.
Stolz Partners is collaborating on Giorgetti Houston with Mirador Group, the Houston-based architectural firm designing all aspects of the building including interiors. Houston-based Sudhoff is the exclusive sales and marketing firm for the condominium.
"Closing on the land for Giorgetti Houston is an exciting step towards bringing Giorgetti’s first totally luxury-branded real estate project to life," Will Stolz, of Stolz Partners, tells CultureMap. "In partnering with Sudhoff and Mirador Group, we're offering buyers a condominium that is unrivaled in its caliber of boutique design."
