Microsoft's crazy rock star CEO to speak at Houston Technology Forum
Everyone's got a hero. Some of us idolize presidents. Others look up to celebrities.
And some of us can't get enough of those stinking rich, flamboyant businessmen.
If you happen to fall into the latter category and swear by your PC, then the Houston Technology Center has a motherboard of a keynote for you.
On March 10, the organization will be hosting the Houston Technology Forum, themed "Strategic Implications for Houston as a Center for Innovation" at Union Station in Minute Maid Park. The lunchtime event will be headlined by one of the biggest techstars in the digital field — none other than Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer.
If you've always believed that the cult of Mac was an ill-fated fad and credit Word as the savior of man, then you ought to hurry to score a seat at the limited space shindig.
Tickets for the tech tycoon's talk went on sale Tuesday and they'll be sold through March 8 — or as long as they last. You'll want to be XP speedy to rub infrared waves with one of the richest men in the world before it's too late.
We sure hope Big Ballmer saves some of his trademark antics for his appearance in the Bayou City.
