It's official: Nation's hottest home goods designer announces plans for Houston store
It's official. Fabulous home goods designer Jonathan Adler is opening a Houston store.
Adler, who has been labeled "the king of quirky, Pop home design," plans to open a store in West Ave next month, he announced in a press release Friday. Within Houston's design and retail community, it's been an open secret that Adler, who already has stores in Dallas and Austin, was intent on opening a boutique in Houston.
"There's nothing in the world like Texas glamour — everything in the state is larger than life," Adler said.
"There's nothing in the world like Texas glamour — everything in the state is larger than life," Adler said in a statement. "The only thing better than having two stores here is three. I'm thrilled to be opening in Houston."
The new store, totaling 3,500 square feet, will offer a full range of Adler's products, including furniture, home decor, rugs, tabletop collections, bedding, gifts, candles and more. Fashion accessories, including handbags, wallets, scarves and tech cases, as well as the new men's collection, will also be sold.
The store store will introduce a new concept — a "gift bar" featuring room vignettes and special occasion gifts for a variety of recipients. Among services offered are complimentary in-home consultations, a design-your-own program to create custom rugs, pillows and throws, and a custom design upholstery program.
